Writer, lunatic, part-time human being.
Oh, you wanted more than that?
I spent four very bizarre years at Union College cataloging books in the library, making the best milkshakes and mozzarella sticks in town at the Rathskellar, and lurking in the darkest available corners with my research. There was a short-lived incident with Union College Radio WRUC, where I co-hosted a show called Killing Time Radio for an hour every week. That lasted for a little over a year before I wound up cutting the time in half and flying solo for a term. 2007 brought me to Galway, Ireland for three and a half months, where I was mentored by two professional storytellers and saw some of the most beautiful sights in the world. My final semesters were spent writing comedy articles as the supervillain Lady Unpleasantries and banging my head against a wall. In 2009, Union College gave me a BA in English with honors and a psychology minor. I left that June with a portfolio including a stage play about demons, a novel about zombies, a thesis about psychoanalysis and the devil, and a research paper about the psychology of Christopher Nolan’s Batman universe.
The next year was endured as a retail sales consultant for a Very Big Cell Phone Company, writing short stories, and fighting with my car.
2010 brought me back to school, and the State University of New York at Albany owns my soul for the foreseeable future as I work on my MA and eventually my PhD in something related to Victorian studies and literature.
After years as a retail clerk, certified floral designer, and finally a sales rep with quotas and expensive mobile devices, you can find me earning my paychecks at the New York State Office of Mental Health and The Vineyard Wines and Spirits.
Currently, I’m working for Carrie Clevenger as the content editor for her novel Crooked Fang, soon to be independently published.
For a complete list of my writing published online, you can see my bibliography page.
I’m also available as an English tutor and a freelance editor. You can contact me via email.
